Your content

Only upload or write content you are entitled to use and share. Consider the privacy of anyone named or pictured. Do not use the service for unlawful material, harassment, impersonation, or content that violates another person’s rights. Do not attempt unauthorized access or disrupt the site.

You retain your rights to your own words and photographs. By publishing, you ask the service to store and deliver the encrypted snapshot so people with your complete gift link can open it.

Understand the sharing model

A complete gift link provides access to its content. The site does not verify a recipient’s identity or stop a link holder from copying or forwarding a gift. Unlisted means the gift is not publicly listed by us; it does not mean that nobody else can share it.

Published gifts are snapshots. Editing a draft does not update them. There is no automatic expiry; use the creator browser’s saved deletion control to delete a published gift. Keep that browser’s data or a private complete backup if you want to retain the deletion credential. Complete backups include saved gift links and deletion keys that existed when the backup was downloaded; older draft-only backups do not.

Backups, dates and availability

Keep copies of important text and original photos separately. Local storage can be cleared, services can become unavailable, and printed or downloaded copies are outside the site’s control. The tool is provided as available and features may change.

Date displays use calendar days on the viewer’s device. Confirm travel arrangements and precise appointment times separately. Journal articles and writing prompts are suggestions for personal expression, not professional relationship advice or promises about outcomes.

Site materials

The site’s design, implementation and original editorial guides are created for Long Distance Page. You may share links to the public guides. The bundled fonts are supplied under their respective open font licenses.
